Personal development in an independent business

An independent business exposes habits. If you postpone follow-up in your job, you will probably do it here too. If you become unsure when someone says no, you will get plenty of practice.

This is not magic, and it is not “become the best version of yourself” as a slogan. It is more grounded: you learn to prepare a conversation, listen, note the next step and show up again.

For ambitious younger people it can be a way to practise sales, personal branding and leadership with real products. For people over 40 it can be a way to use working-life experience in a more flexible frame.

Development without action is just reading. Action without reflection becomes busyness. You need both.
