Selling without being “a salesperson”

Many people say they are “not salespeople”. What they often mean is that they do not want to pressure, exaggerate or play a role. That is a good boundary.
Sales in this model is about knowing the products, asking questions and respecting a no. If someone does not need the product, the right answer is not a better pitch. It is to leave the person be.
What works over time is trust. Trust comes from using the products yourself, explaining them without medical claims, and following up when you said you would.
If you come from retail, insurance or customer service, you already have part of the craft. If you do not, it can be learned — slowly and with practice.
Do I have to cold-call strangers?
Not as a starting point. Most people begin with their own network and with people who have already shown interest.
